We are a dynamic and growing 15BBL brewery based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent producing beer in Cask, Keg & Can. Pig and Porter is a passion born of necessity, nurtured in a shed, fuelled by belief and fulfilled by the creation of beers that we love. We’re now on a mission to share our beers with everyone who wants to drink better. All of our beers are now vegan friendly with the exception of Honey Hill Wit which contains honey. Pig and Porter now has a growing team in a shiny new site with a new head brewer Riina Laats taking our beers in a new direction.

Cask by stillage at One Inn The Wood, Petts Wood on 9th September 2023. Hazy amber with shallow white foam and spot lacing. An aroma of tropical fruits, and notes of peach and strawberry cream. Caramel malt and tangy fruitiness in-mouth, and a return to a tropical fruit theme for the finish. Full bodied with an engaging texture.

Draft at Art & Craft CR0, Croydon 02/08/2023 Hazy golden orange with a white head. Citrus and light tropical fruity with some orange and melon, touch of grapefruit, nice juiciness, medium body, piney light bitter balanced hoppy close.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 1st August 2023. Deep brown with loose and shallow tan foam and spot lacing. Malty aroma. Spicy fruits, leafy hoppiness in-mouth and a caramel malt finish. An apple touch. Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

7/6/2023. Keykeg at Waterworks Micropub, Rye. Pours clear golden orange with a small frothy white head. Aroma of orange, mango, stone fruits, grass, straw. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation. Only keykeg on offer at Waterworks and it was good.

Tap at Ninkaci, Eastbourne. Poured a murky golden orange colour a mostly lasting frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is grainy malt, tropical citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a fresh, crisp, juicy passionfruit mango, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Cask at the 39 Steps, Broadstairs, 13/05/23. Dark orange to copper with a decent off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is orange peel, grass, soft malts, light bready notes, hint of caramel. Taste comprises orange peel, citric tinged straw, touch of mango, bread dough. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spotted with light juicy hop bitterness. Okay cask affair.
