18/2/2023. Bottle from Northumbrian Gifts. Pours close to black with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma of light roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, nut, touch of ash and berry. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness and body. Smooth, soft carbonation. Decent bottled mild.

Aroma is malty, grainy, grassy, herbal, stone fruit notes. Quite sweet, ligth to moderate bitterness, slight tart edge. Moderate body, watery, average carbonation. Easy drinking pils.

Aroma of caramel, biscuit, malt, fruit, cooking chocolate. Moderate sweetness, medium plus earthy bitterness. Medium body, oily, average carbonation. Quite like a white stout. It’s okay.
