BIAB sample from Grumbo, cheers Graham! Pale yellow gold colour, no head and aroma of pear, sweetish fruity with light woody hints. Taste is sweet, fruity pear, with some tartness and woody fleshy pear notes. Medium bodied, low carbonation, mellow medium-dry finish. Quite OK.

2012 Vintage. Really took me by surprise how good this cider is, considering it’s such as small producer. Crisp clean taste with mild dusty tannin and gorgeously sweet vintage apple crunch, without the oak barrel edge of other vintages which actually i prefer. Very nice blend which I shall definitely be drinking again.

Bottle that I picked up from the Hop Pocket, Bishops Frome, Herefordshire, summer 2011 consumed 10.11.11 Pours rusty/gold excellent clarity and with some light carbonation. Very moreish, nice soft juicy apples but also a slight aged soft woodiness to this, tangy and crisp but also juicy with long good slightly dry tannic end to this. Nice stuff. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5
