Description
Founded in 2006 in a renovated farm building which overlooks Beeston church and the tranquil valley beyond. which provides a perfect setting to craft our fine beers.
Sustainability and locality is at the heart of what we do. Our water comes from deep in the Norfolk chalk from our private supply beneath the brewery, and is perfect for brewing real ale.
Our main ingredient, Maris Otter malting barley is grown locally at Branthill Farm on the Holkham Estate. This is some of he finest malting barley on the planet.

[Bottle from Norfolk Square Brewery shop, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk] Black-brown, no head, too fizzy for a stout. Smells chocolatey, tastes of smoke and roasted malt with red wine and coffee behind. Little bitterness. Finish sticky yet dry. OK.

(Bottle, Monkโs Cafรฉ, Stockholm) Very dark brown colour, almost black, with lasting frothy pale brown head. Malty, roasted, slightly fruity nose with notes of chocolate, dark bread and black-currant. Malty, fruity taste with dark chocolate, coffee, dark berries, black-currant and a balanced cocoa bitterness in the finish. Some fruity sweetness throughout. Medium body with a slightly prickly mouthfeel. Nice beer. In short: malty black-currant chocolate stout.
