Hazy golden coloured body with a thin, super fast-dying pure white head. Aroma of sour grapes, pure lactic and citric acid with some light wheat and grass notes, a hint of yeast and some pure bread as well. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong wheat and definite salt qualities in this one with a good malt backbone with a lot of effervescence, some subtle herbal elements and a lot of freshness and quite a good bit of sour notes, all with a large and supportive yeast flavour. Aftertaste shows a lot of sour, a ton of salty and a very nice malt backbone that doesnβt usually show up in this style. Overall, a very nice gose with more alcohol than usual, but perhaps thatβs why this one is so good - because it has malt and character instead of bowing out at 4,0% abv, this one hits like a real beer - almost a belgian single or similar in flavour to an unblended fresh gueuze or a faro lambic - nice to sample and definitely worth trying if you can find this! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Specβs Liqour in Dallas, Texas on 01-September-2015 for US$2,52 sampled at home in Washington on 09-June-2016.

12 ounce can from crajun! Hazy dark reddish brown, large creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of citrus, molasses, nuts, raisin. The taste is tea, brown sugar, molasses, bitter astringent hops, nutmeg, vanilla, plum, raisin. Thin-medium bodied, lingering bitterness, low carbonation, mild booze. A little rough around the edged but overall complex and interesting.

Tasted in Bruges, thanks Bart. Fruit BIPA from a small craft brewery in Texas, with creamy, pale yellowish beige, stable head and blackish robe with mahogany edges. Complex and fascinating aroma of cocoa, blackberry (in fact more so than the actually applied raspberry), cured meat, dried orange peel, bitter honey, fig, hazelnut, varnish, straw, pipe tobacco. Sweet candied date and raisin notes in the onset along with fruity sourishness but again, much more reminiscent of blackberry than raspberry, meaty umami touch, softish carbo, smooth and thick body of caramelly, nutty and toasted malts with indeed a dash of deeply spicy rye underneath, smoky accent but much more subtle than expected, long dry hoppy finish, spicy, grapefruity, bittering, along with some whisky-like alcohol. Probably the most elaborate black IPA I ever tasted with the inclusion of fruit, rye and smoked malts, but most of these elements get a bit lost into the whole - which, I hasten to add, is a very impressive one.

12 oz can purchased as a single at Lone Star Beverages in Carrollton, Texas. The pour is a hazed yellow gold, greenish with a foamy white head. The aroma is tart citrus, salt and a bit of bright hop. The taste is the tart citrus lemon up front, soft floral, the salt and finishes with wheat. The palate is light bodied with active carbonation and a citrus lingering salt finish. Nice well done.

Bottle from blutt59 and odd concept for beer although I supposed served side by side often enough bound to happen. Dark roasted brown with fine head. Nose is chocolate and pretzel amazingly. I did get the pretzel right off bat and had to check deScription to make sure actualy made with them, also chocolate, roasted malt, licorice. Salty finish. Semi sweet. Kinda odd I prefer the chocolate bar combo of salt and chocolate over the beer version.

Can from blutt59 this salty gose is helping my cold. Murky greenish yellow but still appetizing looking. Nose is salt, wheat, and vinegar. Tastes of salty goodness, light vinegar, wheat, some lime zest, biscuit. Zingy. Delicious.
