Cask at White Horse, Banbury. Pours a hazy pale lemon yellow, with a greenish tinge, and a foamy white head. The aroma is mainly lemongrass but with hints of malts and creeals. Mainly lemon in the flavour, but in a good smooth way (lemonade, not lemon rind). Grains and creamy biscuits as well with a slightly bitter finish. I enjoyed this more than I expected.

Third, gravicask at the 22nd Oxford Beer & Cider Festival. Shared with Finn. Bubbles on the surface, black in the glass, scattered lacing. Nicely roasted dark malty nose with cocoa. Mocha chocolate flavours supported by coffee notes to the ending. Easy to drink. Nice. (25.10.2019).

Cask at Merton Beer Festival, Thursday 25th February 2016 (a sneaky beer pre festival) Pours gold another beer that looked perfect on the pour with a lovely snowstorm of tiny bubbles eventually settling to leave a slim white head. Steady bitterness a little cereal with a lemony edge, however not quite as hop forward as I had expected. A6 A5 T6 P3 Ov12 3.2
