Cask gravity at Banbury Beer Festival, Friday 9th May 2014 Light gold with white rim of bubbles. A very, very good local beer, and having just had the Oakham Curmudgeon this gave it a run for its money, however where this slipped a little was the bitterness which was blunted ever so slightly by the sweetness. Good, really good but I reckon it would have been (and was apparently) even better last night. Tasty citrussy beer, thoroughly enjoyed. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Cask at EBF XVI, 07/11/13. Clear light golden with a good sized off white head that retains well. Nose is lemon sherbet, grass, toasted malts, orange, citric waftings. Taste comprises light mandarin, grass, soft bread dough, orange pith, toasted malts. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, smooth on the palate with light grassy bitterness in the finale allied to subtle hop notes. Decent GB offering.

Cask at the Anchor, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with no head and no life at all. The aroma is floral hop. The flavour is weak bitter with a light bodied palate. A decent beer but needs some more work.
