Dark brown, near black with a frothy tan head and a mellow coffee and chocolate aroma. Up front it’s coffee and dry bitterness with some fruit, chocolate and roasted malt closing it off ahead of a dry fruity finish

0,3l on tap @ Dom. Pours very dark brown with a medium tan head. Aroma is sweet roasted malts, vanilla, coffee, chocolate. Flavor is sweet roasted malts, vanilla, coffee, chocolate, some hops. Crisp carbonation along with the frankly low ABV for the style makes this feel lighter than it should. It's not bad, but would be better were it softer.

Keg draught at Tønne. Very dark brown, for all intents and purposes opaque with a good-sized beige/khaki head. Aroma dominated by coffee, with notes of bitter chocolate. The sweetness in the taste doesn't dominate. There's an intense bitterness with the coffee notes and a touch of savoury yeast extract. The bitterness subsides somewhat but is still very noticeable in the finish. This is an intense coffee beer.

Hand-pulled pint at the Pheasant Inn and Brewhouse on 2nd November 2024. Pale golden body, white crust. Orange like aroma and taste with a grapefruit bitterness, wasn't overly impressed to be honest, I found it a little 'weak'.
