Lemon, coriander, wheat malt, and hay aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Moderately sweet citrus, coriander, wheat malt, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Nice body.

Draught at DTW airport 9/23/23. So I asked for the pilsner. Bartender said, The session IPA? I said, No, the pilsner. It says pilsner on the bill but this is certainly the Centennial hopped ISA listed on the menu. And boy does it suck. Bitter grapefruit and light pine on a crackery-popcorny diacetyl-ridden canvas that is thin and lightly metallic. No malt depth or flavor. Atrociously-made.

Draught at DTW airport, 9/23/23. Clear amber-copper. Little, beige head, low retention. Bit of metal, perhaps, though with noticeable malt adding caramel and honey. Lightly bready, low hop character. Pretty standard Americanized marzen. Super bready, caramelly, all malt-driven with low yeast character. No snappiness/crispness on the overly bready finish. But it could be A LOT worse. It's fairly clean and there's a reasonable amount of base malt. But yeah, so much God damn bread and toast.

Draught at DTW, 7/26/22. Deep copper-maize. Lightly hazy. White head is medium, shows moderate retention. Lots of clove but also a strong malt presence. Lots more spicy phenolics in there, not overpowering. Surprisingly malty with lots of classic clove, banana and a hint of nutmeg. Good attenuation. This is shockingly good.

Tap at GB Annapolis. Bright, thick golden body. Steady, creamy, white head. Bravo hops seem to be an unfortunate choice, adding some resinous bitterness that gives it some chewiness, but leads it towards IPL. Full bodied, a decent enough Hellerbock, just not really the truest Mailbock.

Tap at GB Annapolis. Solid more classical West Coast IPA. Solid malt backdrop, not thin or one-dimensional. Great hop depth, the Lemondrop adding a sweet candy touch. Balanced, but not quite all in with the bitterness. Good.

Tap at GB Annapolis. Filtered golden tan body, creamy white head. Great doughy, creamy, easy mouthfeel. The hops are a little distant, not that pronounced. An interesting mix of the light beer on the menu and a respectable lager. Better execution than average, but would probably benefit from more European ingredients. Pleasant Brewhouse aroma. OK.
