Can at home, 27th December 2025. Pours a hazy orange yellow. Aroma is tropical and citrus fruits. Taste is assertive, pithy, candied fruits and nicely bitter. By far the best beer I’ve had from LHG, who normally run too sweet

440ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Near black in body appearance, patchy fawn coloured surface, scattered lacing. Promising aromas of toffee and earthy chocolate, smoothly roasted. Fine blended taste character with toffee, liquorice, and chocolate supported by a nutty bite, mild lactose backbone. Nicely roasted malt-driven finish, not overly sweet. Well bodied. Likeable. (Tromsø, 27.12.2025).

Thin creamy tan head on a still black body - looks inviting.
Minimal malt & toffee aroma.
Medium to full bodied, smooth & soft on the tongue with silky clean back.
Toffee, liquorice, malt, sarsaparilla & nutty tastes with a fruity red berry finish.

Panda from Colin. Cheers. Dark gold. Thin frothy foamy white head. Aroma has stone fruit with a sour edge. Flavourwise it's similar. Sweet stone fruit. Light citrus edge with resin and herbal bite. Tang. Underlying porridge. Medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Nice.

Very nice medley of zesty citrusy lime and lemon, some Nelson tender juicy white grape and crushed gooseberries, some grass, pine, semi sweet creamy malty backing, balanced bitter floral and herbal hoppy finish. Lovely.
