750ml swing-top bottle kindly shared by Finn at a rating session. Big shot and smoke when opened. Large creamy white head, mostly diminishing. Hazy golden coloured body. Quite inviting aroma of mandarin with bread beneath. Flavoured by mandarin, lemon and juicy malts. Rather abrupt sweet ending. Soft in the mouth. Alright, however, rather unvaried and a strange kind of an IPA (Tromsø 18.06.2014).

750ml swing-top bottle, kindly shared by Finn. Opens with a good shot followed by smoke. High, loose, pearl white head dissipating over an unclear apricot coloured body. Aroma of dough and sweet fruits. Rather unbalanced taste of spices, grain and fruits. Short ending. Very foamy, actually soapy, in the mouth. Drinkable, but leaves with a bland impression (rating session, Tromsø 18.06.2014).

Shared 0.75 l bottle. Overcarbonated, beerglass filled with foam. After a couple of minutes, the beer in the bottle is still "alive". Light orange color, very cloudy due to the liveliness, stable head with big bubbles. Some citrus and hay, bread, alcohol, sweet. Still too much CO2 after the whole bottle is poured. Some bitter finish coming from the yeast (Belgian yeast??). This beer reminds us of a bad homebrew, not an IPA at all, rather an average paleale.

Flaske 0,75l fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø Langnes. Delt i godt selskap på Nerstranda 18 Jun 14. Mer smell - om mulig høyere enn på Amber’n. Lys gusjegul. Uklar. Høyt luftig skum. God aprikos-/mandarinaroma. Intens mandarinsmak. Blir litt ensformig.

Veldig høyt luftig skum med kremtopp. Forsiktig aroma av brøddeig. Smaken er litt krydder med hint av blomster. Prikkende følelse på tunga. Blir litt tørr syrlig etter hvert.

Bottle 750ml. w. swing top @ [ Fastelavn Smagning - Carnival Tasting, Ulfborg ]. [ As Holtens Hvete ].Clear medium yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, fruity, spicy, yeast, coriander. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average duration, tart, plastic, yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140301]

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is dry, grassy and herbal hoppy. Dry phenolic. Sweet, toasted and light caramelish fruity. Dry and bitter finish.
