On tap at the Beer Baron. It pours a mostly clear reddish brown with a small khaki head. The aroma is strong with caramel and toast. Maybe a hint of raisins, but really caramel heavy. The flavor is the same with strong bitterness that doesnβt really work with the rest of the beer. The body is reasonably dry despite the strong toasted and caramel malt. Good carbonation. Overall itβs enjoyable, but the bitterness is distracting.

On tap at Hopwater Distribution. Mostly clear golden coloured pour with a small white head. Aroma is subdued pale grains, light honey , lemon, hints of pine. Flavour is composed of semi sweet base grains, lemon hop, tangy cirrus and some earthy pine. Palate is semi crisp, highish carbonation. Aggressive hop bitterness, mostly clean. Interesting solid IPA.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours translucent gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is fruity/spicy. Mild spice. Near med boy. Flavor is dry and fruity, a bit earthy. Arguably citrus as well. Intense, but not harsh, flavorwise. Hops nicely obscure the malt backbone. Well worth drinking.

On draft at the Beer Baron. It pours a very pale yellow color with a white head. The aroma is nice, fresh and hoppy with citrusy lime, passionfruit and mango. Good. The flavor is light and crackery with hints of gooseberries and grape. Dry and very light on the palate. Almost soda water-like. Still enjoyable.

On tap at the Beer Baron. It pours a pale yellow color with a white head. The aroma is nice and lemony with some orange, light saltiness and funk. The flavor is light and refreshing. Wheat, orange and lemon. Unfortunately, a little buttered popcorn in the finish. A shame, since everything else seems really nice. Good carbonation. Subtle and pleasant tartness. Just that butter...
