Can at kernel. Many thanks to Leighton / fly. Clear yellow golden coloured pour with a lasting white head. Aroma is light caramel, pine and grassy hop with a little dank. Flavour is composed of caramel and bisvuity malts, grassy piney hop. Palate is light and crisp, little sweetness, highish carbonation. Good.

Can. Thanks to Leighton. Almost clear gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Very light palate, semi dry with a light crispness. Airy thin malts, super light creamy sweetness. Hop spice. Light lemon - orange. Light pine. Some orange peel and a trace of sweet peach. Light finish. Very light and very drinkable.

Can thanks to Fly, via Leighton. It pours clear pale gold with a thick white head. The nose is fresh, juicy, bready malts, floral, sweet grain, herbal and mild grass. The taste is crisp, bitter - sweet, toasty grain, cereal, citrus zest, grassy, pepper, straw, white grape and bread with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Well rounded and pretty drinkable. Not bad.

Can shared at the Kernel. Big thanks to fly for providing! The nose holds a bit of piney and rindy hops, dry ple malts. Light sweet flavor with bitter pine needles, crusty pale bread, straw, lemon rind. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with more piney hops, rindy bitterness, more dry bread. Not bad overall. Drinkable stuff.

Can from Mark, thanks for the great brews! Deep golden color with a slight amber hue and a decent sized bubbly white head that persists. Huge dank resinous hops with hints of citrus, pine, and tropical fruits on the nose a bits of light bready malt sweetness. The flavor is bready caramel maltiness with a bit of pine and resin hop flavor and a solid shot of hop bitterness. Slight alcohol warming. Nice DIPA, glad I got a chance to try it.

12 oz can, sampled straight from the can and my least favorite of the three I had in the can. Aroma is mild biscuit, cereal grain, corn? Corn ?

Flavor is weak at best. Grain, biscuit and weak bad yeast. How the hell can I get more flavor from this Brewers Pils then the Golden ale? Oh, right it’s a golden ale... Yes, this Brewers Pils are more character and flavor profile. This recipe needs some work. No hop balance to cut through the this grain bill.

12 oz can, sampled straight from the can while tubing down a river and getting scored by the sun. Aroma is big Pilsner malt, grain and generic hops.

Flavor is a basic Pilsner, grain, light grass, weak bitterness that shows for a second after the swallow. No major flaws but it just a Pils, nothing to get worked up over.

12 oz can, stamp on the bottom of the can reads Best Before: 10/5/2015. I had this straight from the can while tubing down a river. Aroma shows citrus and floral with a light hop oil note.

Flavor like the aroma with pale malts giving sweetness. The hops are average for a beer of this price point. Not over done, classic. Serviceable.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with small white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is lemon, funk, and dough. Thin mouth, lemon, dough, very tart, clean, crushable, look forward to this release every year, such an amazing berliner.
