Bottled (thanks to my parents!). Hazy amber colour with a small white foamy head. Aroma is sweet malts, grains, some slight spicy tones with mild earth. Flavour is spicy, mild toasted tones, sweet grains, herbs and some nutty tones. Surprisingly watery feel to it, considering the 6 % abv.

0,33 l bottle from a supermarket in Rhodes City. BB 07-2020. Unclear amber in the glass with a smallest fast fading head. Smells malty. Nearly no carbonation. Low malty smell. Low hop. Some decent sweetness. Lame.

Bottle. Slightly cloudy copper/orange with a big white head. Aroma of dark fruits, malts and yeast. Feels more Belgian than Scottish or Greek...Taste is fruity, malty and tart. Caramel. Sweetish and only a hint of bitterness. Medium carbonation. Well...

Pours dark chestnut brown, topped with a medium sized and nicely lasting tan head. Medium malty aroma, biscuity with quite some woodiness and some nuts, gently roasty. Gently malty sweet, a bit of caramel with just a hint of bitterness in the finish. Light body with very sparkly feel, lots of carbonation. A decent one, really.

Ok, I think I have the right beer here. Just labeled Alexander, it’s a Scotch Ale, brewed by Unibrau. No the great though, and a different label, but who knows? If I’ve got this wrong let me know. But the truth is this beer isn’t anything to write home about. Clear brown pour with soapy dense head. It’s all malt, some mild sweetness with a mildly bitter finish. I’d say nothing to write home about, but I’m in Greece and I’m writing....
