Very herbal and dank, with a weedy back end adding bright green hop notes to an otherwise basic Belgian pale. Doesn't quite mesh; the ganja-laced hops are too prominent in the fade, making me wonder if this beer uses the same pot flavorings as Sweetwater's 420 line. As is, drinkable, but too hemp-forward.

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a mostly clear straw gold with a finger of white foam that lingers and floatie proteins. Melon, stone fruit and dried dandelion aromas. Bitter pith & floral notes on the palate. Cantaloupe as it warms. Medium dry peppery notes that linger on the finish. Not bad, but was hoping for a bit more carbonation and dryness. --- Beer merged from original tick of Boi Shortz 2 Electric Boogaloo on 01 Jun 2019 at 12:30 - Score: 7. A golden pils with a thin white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with German hops, light mineral notes, classic. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with German hops, light mineral notes, nice and smooth. On tap at DLD 2019.

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a hazy deep gold with a finger of foam that lingers. Strawberry, citrus, dank and tropical fruit aromas permeate the nose. Mango, pineapple and more dank on the palate. Thick and juice-like texture. Low bitterness with a well-rounded mouthfeel. More tropical fruit, mango flesh and strawberry towards the finish with some light durian. --- Beer merged from original tick of Hazejuice Slopcan on 10 Apr 2019 at 13:15 - Score: 7

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a deep brown with a full 2 fingers of beige, soapy head that lingers. Light caramel and mild chocolate aromas on the nose. More chocolate, toasted brown malt, pine and caramel notes on the palate. Not really a black IPA in my mind, but more of a dark brown ale. Just not getting the hops I like in a black IPA. --- Beer merged from original tick of Prank Calls To Satan on 10 Mar 2019 at 15:47 - Score: 6. Original review text: Toffee, toasted malt and chocolate aromas. Some raisin as it warms. Smooth, with some bitter roasty notes mid-palate. Dryish

Nice, mellow Black IPA, laid back in its hoppy roastiness, but in a cool-guy-don't-give-a-shit sort of way. Chocolate, caramel, and coffee cherries mix with spicy pine and grapefruit, leading to a cocoa-dusted, modestly bitter fade. A little rough around the edges (has a very young brewpub vibe), and it's more like a ruby-brown IPA than a black IPA, but very drinkable.

Can. A- Roasty, roasted vegetables, burnt coffee, mild cocoa. A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, beige head. T- Stale coffee, mild sweet cream, roasty, slightly earthy. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, roasty finish. O- Not bad but for a sweet stout it was rather roasty and earthy while only minor sweetness. Not exactly what I was looking for but overall a solid stout.

Taste from a bottle at James' house. Pours black, with a small, tan head. The aroma is hard coffee, bourbon, roasted oak, maple, and soy sauce. Sweet and sugary, with a sharp bitterness. Heavy body, with a hard, sticky, mouthfeel. This is an interesting and aggressive stout.
