12 oz can. Pours a copper/amber color with a largish off-white head that has fair retention. The aroma is medium in strength with some roasted grains, caramel and some peppery herb. The taste is mild roasted grains, breads, herbs and some caramel. Bitterness somewhat higher than I usually expect in a marzen. Palate is medium and crisp/ Finishes short with some lingering hoppiness. Overall: Decent Oktoberfest brew.

2$ can. Pour is a clear dull pale. Decent fading white head. Somewhat bright citrus pilsner nose. First taste is quite citrus as well. Brighter pils medium bitter bite. Says there is honey in there and maybe I am catching a passing hint of it. Could use a but more carbonation. Perhaps a little better than I was expecting, considering the label, I was thinking it may be a boozy baltic pils but now I see its only 4.5%. Go figger. Not bad. In the end the bitter pils bite begins to build with a medium long finish.

Meh. This hazy has surprisingly weak hops. There’s malty sweetness and some hop resin and citrus with mild bitterness. It tastes like a dull blend of underwhelming flavors though, drinkable but thoroughly meh. Maybe it’s too old.

On tap at the brewery in a tulip glass. Hazy dark gold with a thick white head. Aroma is tangerine, mango, papaya. Initial taste is everything from the aroma with some added darkness. Fades to pine, citrus rind. Full body and steady carbonation. Fantastic stuff!

hmm. This one is fruity, piney, and very malty. It’s sweet and boozy. For me it crosses into cough syrupy territory a bit, which isn’t good. It’s not bad. I just expected better.

Can shared by explosivedog: pours black with beige head. Aroma is milk chocolate, maltiness. Taste is sweetish, but not overly so. Mellow milky stout.
