Bottle. Copper in color with a small yet creamy head. Aroma and taste was a tad hoppier than what I think most Barleywines should taste like. For the most not too bad.

Can. I’m not crazy about this style but this is a really nice beer. The bitterness that is often found in pilsners is of the pleasant tasty variety. One of the better pilsners I’ve ever had.

Bottle. I really quite liked this beer. Deep brown with a really nice tan head. Aroma was chocolate, deep roasted grains and just a slight note of spice. Taste was chocolate, coffee with a malty sweetness upfront and a very, very slight hoppy finish.

Can. Ok, several years ago . The California beer scene started putting mega hops in every beer imaginable. The thing is us malt lovers like malty beers. When one gets a porter or a stout or a brown ale we expect a strong malty flavor. Seems "California style" has made it to the southeast more and more. With that being said.....this is a really good beer. Yes it’s a tad hoppy but with it’s deep brown color, huge, long lasting head and lots of lace. It’s good.

Bottle. Dark amber with a large quickly disappearing head. A tad of lace and not much else. Aroma is roasted grains and fruit cake. Taste is a rich, slightly sweet flavor upfront with a touch of booziness in the middle and a very slight bitter finish. Actually a very nice beer.

Bottle. Clear, deep gold in color. Large, creamy, persistent, white head. Aroma is moderate malt aroma with a lightly toasted quality. Moderately low hop aroma, with a spicy, clean quality. Taste is slightly sweet upfront from the corn. Pils malt flavor with some toasty notes and well balanced in the middle. Little to no caramel flavor. Moderately dry finish that tastes of both malt and hops. I believe the style is wrong. I believe Wiseacre intended to be a Maibock (MAIzeBOCK, get it ). ; )
