Draught keg at rhe Queens Road Tap, Leicester. Light gold and hazy with a ring of white head and gentle lacing. Light aroma of apricot, vanilla malt. Taste is more intense, with a sweet and almost savoury stone fruit character oblverlain with bittersweet pink grapefruit. Finishes bitter with vanilla and mastic in the aftertaste. Light body with incredible carbonation. Interesting stuff.

Keg draught at the Queens Road Tap, Leicester. Light yellow, maybe just a little bit hazy and a small ring of white head. Light citrus and herbal aroma. Lemon balm, citrus, grassy notes. Taste is nicely subtle, a good lemon zest flavour. Neither too sour nor too sweet. Light to medium body with zesty carbonation. Good all in all.

Keg draught at the Queens Road Tap, Leicester. Very light gold, hazy with a slightly scummy white head. Stone fruit aroma, a little bit of citrus, slight astringent. Taste is sweet but not impossibly so, some apricot, orange, lychee. A slightly savoury malty balance. Body is watery as hell and carbonated as hell.

Handpull cask at the Queens Road Tap, Leicester. Mid- to dark mahogany brown, a little translucent with a small film of beige/khaki head and a lot of spotty lacing. Malty aroma, notes of chocolate and red berries. Tastes sweet at first but there's a wonderful bitter hoppiness which follows, with a touch of astringency. More chocolate here, some black cherry. Light to medium body, soft carbonation. Incredibly good for the style.

Bag in the box at the Salmon, Leicester. Light to mid-gold and still with no head. Aroma is sweet, sugary and artificial orange and peach, maybe a little bit of Passion fruit. Sweet sweet taste, citrus, stone and tropical fruits. Not very focused and pretty fake but its nice sometimes to have something like this. Full body, no carbonation.
