440ml can bought as part of a delivery from Raynville Superstore and drunk at home. Dark gold, maybe with the slightest greenish hue, very hazy with almost no head. Slighty milky aroma, some funk, a good lashing of pineapple. Taste was a lot more sour than I'd expected, with the intensity of the tartness hitting the back of the throat. More pineapple, a little possety, very acidic. Big body for the ABV and style with light to medium carbonation. Wonderful beer.

440ml can as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Lightish gold, hazy with a small uneven ring of white head. Berry, grapefruit, lemon zest. Tastes pretty sweet, more berry and. good bit of nectarine. Gentle bitterness follows, but the beer stays on the sweet side. Weighty body, medium (or maybe very slightly heavy) carbonation. I was almost certain to like this given the hop combination, but it's great to be proven right.

Handpull cask at the King's Head, the lighter side of golden, clear with aring of white head. Light butter on the aroma, gentle Englidh hops with citrus overtones. Taste of buttered toast, pomelo and light kumquat. Light body, maybe slightly oily with no carbonation. One of those beers where rhe description doesn't do it justice. It's a good beer.

Handpull cask at the King's Head, Leicester. Middle of the road gold and clear with a quickly dissipating white head. Bready character on the nose, some lighter berry character. Taste is a bit weird. Sweet with some berry overlaid on some soapy UK golden. Medium and slightly oily body with soft carbonation. Not for me. --- Beer merged from original tick of Little Eaton Delvers Drop Elderberry on 30 Mar 2023 at 18:37 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.5. Original review text: Handpull cask at the Salmon, Leicester. Light to mid-gols and clear with a tiny white head. Tidy little berry aroma, light floral notes, hay. Taste is sweet, lots more berry and loght caramel with a medicinal bitterness pushing through to the finish. Thin body, carbonation more or less at nil. A lot going on here for such a simple beer.

Handpull cask at the King's Head, Leicester. Light gold and mostly clear with a small and slightly scummy off-white head. Light lemony aroma, slightly astringent, little bit soapy. Taste is bitter but not intensely so, lots more sharp citrus, long bitter finish. Pretty basic stuff but absolutely drinkable.

12 ounce can purchased from Raynville Superstore and drunk at home. Bright orange gold and hazy with a large tight off-white head. Aroma of pine, a little bit of tropical fruit. Nice bitter taste, kumquat and bitter orange, some papaya. Long finish with a bit of creaminess. Full body with carbonation held back a bit. Decent, not amazing but decent.

Sweet taste, lots of pink grapefruit and some tropical fruit, malt base really present in the mouth as well. Light bitterness in the finish. Medium body with carbonation on the soft side. Extremely good.

440ml can as part of an ASDA delivery. Hazy light gold with a good-sized off-white head. Aroma of citrus and mango with hints of vanilla, little bit of white grape. Sweet taste, more grapefruit and citrus here, a little hop bitterness but it's a nice balance. Long juicy finish. Medium body and carbonation. Grows on me.
