Keg draught at Mill Hill Cask & Coffee, Enderby, Leicester. Mid-gold, hazy with a small layer of white head and good lacing. Fruity, boozy and slightly earthy tones on the nose. Gorgeous rounded taste with heavy citrus backed by vanilla malt. Turning bitter nearer the finish with orange bitters and kumquat peel. Medium body and carbonation. A bit too intense for its own good but a very decent drop nonetheless..

Keg draught at Mill Hill Cask and Coffee, Enderby. Very light yellow gold and hazy with a small film of white head. Citrus aroma, heavy lemonade. Touches of weed. Taste is resplendent with melon, a little banana, mellowing into lime leaves. Better and better with each sip. Thick body with medium carbonation. Just incredible. Lucky lucky me.

Gravity cask at Mill Hill Cask & Coffee. Amber brown and clear with an uneven off-white head. Sweet aroma, some tropical fruit, bready malt. Sweet taste, very malty led with notes of physalis, red grape, caramel. Finish is considerably bitter. Medium weight of body with no carbonation really. Quite nice but I want a bit more personality.

Gravity cask at Mill Hill Cask and Coffee. Light gold, hazy with a ring of loose head. Light aroma of lemon cream, grain and sweet spice. Sweet taste, Light juicy hop, a different sort of almost umami flavour I can't place. Some good bitterness in the finish. Slight body with little carbonation. Odd and reasonably good.

Keg draught at Mill Hill Cask & Coffee. Light gold, hazy with a pillowy white head. Some melon and orange in the aroma with biscuity malt. Sweet taste, nice malt/hop balance. More melon. No bitter bite back though... this is sweet all the way. Light body and soft carbonation. Really nice.

Handpull cask at the Kings Head, Leicester.mid-brown, a little bit translucent, a small beige/khaki head. Aroma is caramel, liquorice, a little bit of leather. Sweet taste, a fair hit of lactose with notes of liquorice and smoke beside it. Some bitterness in the finish. Very watery body with little carbonation. It's a bit bizarre, although decent enough to drink once.

Handpull cask at the King's Head, Leicester. Light to mid-gold, clear with a small loose white head. Floral and fruity aroma, some mango and sweet melon. Taste is sweet, more tropical fruit, with a tiny bitterness near the finish. Medium oily body with almost no carbonation. A cut above most of the loads of sessionable pales that Salopian is putting out lately.

Handpull cask at the Kings Head, Leicester. Reddish/brownish gold, murky with a small layer of off-white head. Floral aroma, some fruited caramel, a touch of apricot. Lots of sweet malt in the mouth, some strawberry. Maybe a hint if bitterness at the finish but it isn't much. This is a sweet and malty beer. Medium body. Carbonation is zilch. Has that home brew-y imbalance but if truth be told it isn't terrible. Just far from amazing.
