Bottle at Maproom after Oneida. Mellow carbonation. Big cocoa notes, chili pepper is mild but adds character. Big malts, luscious and delicious. Kind of nails it in that it doesn't lose is Stouthóod playing with peppers. Quality beer.

Tap at Maproom Chicago. Interesting medium bodied. Superb Belgian effervescent body. Drinks like an amplified Single. More hop tone isnt really a bonus, but it is sort of restrained, on the edge of odd for the style. Bubblegum, mellow fruity hops. Better brewed, but walks into Belgian IPA territory. Not quite what I want in the style,.but I understand their hunger to play.

12oz can. Vile citrus aroma couples really poorly with the estery Belgian yeast. Big boozy mess. Flavored bullshit. What a disgrace.

16oz can c/o Ryan. Some honey in the aroma. Doesn't really drink like a Tripel as much as a balance Belgian Honey Ale. Pleasant, but really not a Tripel. OK.

16oz can. Classical, well done West Coast IPA. Has the malt depth that most examples lack. The Mosaic is new of course, but the body and mouthfeel bring you back to the good old days of malt and balance. Old school sensibilities. Good.
