Flight taster. Reddish brown, with a ring of light foam. Easy toasty malt nose. Good brown ale on the palate, almost in English style. I can taste the great malt for sure. A slight earthy note of English hop. But am equal measure of sleep fruitiness.

Draft taster at Stone Path Malt. No, they're not one of the malt customers, but a cider on tap can be welcome. Cloudy straw color, sparkling carbonation. Light apple juice nose, slight edge of alcohol there, too. Taste is light, a watered apple liquor rather than an apple juice. Plenty of bubbles. I also get some sea salt on the palate too, but it sits very well.

Checked this out with friends and child because it was open at the right time and it had food. Our hosts, who lived in Wareham, had never heard of this place before. So it was new to all of us. It is, of course, an industrial business in a small industrial park. They boast state of the art German malting and kilning equipment. They also have a tap room space with beers made by some of their customers, spread around New England. Then they have coolers with cans of more client beers to go. I had a flight of 4 tasters and a pulled pork BBQ sandwich. That was nice and tasty, although it had slaw on it, which usually isn't my thing. Maybe because it was a cabbage slaw & not cole slaw.
Anyway, beers were all tasty, and the fresh malt could be easily discerned. 2 NEIPAs from different brewers had different color and malt profiles, though each seemed to have the fresh catbox taste of Amarillo hops. The big space in the building was hosting ongoing Cornhole games.
The proprietor kept up with, and explained their marketing process to my friends so they would get the right info.
A great space, and, frankly, a great chance to tick off a lot of beers in a single visit.

Can at Sweet Cheeks BBQ, Boston. Hazy gold pour under a sudsy but thick white head. Nice big smell of hoppy pine and resin. Taste is sharp on piney hop with standard hop bitterness on the side. Lightly toasted malt.

Drinking straight out of the bottle on the patio in the dark, so I'll just suppose the appearance is average. Decent malt smell, a little grainy. Taste settles in as a basic ale, grainy again, work some hop workshops in the background.
