On draft, no head at all. Sickly sweet molasses, brown sugar, minimal hop bitterness, unbalanced, missing the malt smoothness in favour of thin sugar sweetness

Flight taster. Reddish brown, with a ring of light foam. Easy toasty malt nose. Good brown ale on the palate, almost in English style. I can taste the great malt for sure. A slight earthy note of English hop. But am equal measure of sleep fruitiness.

Thirsty Moose Exeter draught, 2/9/25.
Clear dark tan-auburn-mahogany. Little head.
Maple, cream, brown sugar and mild roast. Clean, fruity, not buttery.
Soft and lightly syrupy, lots of vanilla, raisin, brown sugar and molasses. Succulent, sweet though drying properly on the finish. Mild roasted acidity.

Sampled at the brewery, pours a clear brown with some clingy white head. Nose of bread and black tea, some noble hop. Flavors follow. Old school and straight up. Dry finish with some tannins.

Draft at Moat Mountain Smoke House & Brewing Co in N Conway, NH. Clear dark amber color; Lighter color than most brown ales. No head or lacing. Thin mouthfeel for the style. Flavor is more like a rauchbier than a brown. Smoky, smooth and clean. Good. Maybe they gave me the wrong beer but I like it.

From tap. Pours hazy brown with a small off white head. Aroma is toasted malty. Light caramelish and breadish. Sweet, dark malty. Toasted malty. Caramelish sweet and slight fruity finish.
