Draft flight taste at Sturdy Shelter. Properly hazy whitish yellow, still a thin ring of white foam. Slight fruit in the nose, likely block by my sinuses. But the taste is all there: pine and resin, a bit of tropical fruit. Bitterness settles in after the second sip or so. Sheep yeti smooth.

A bit more Amber color than the Kolsch I just sampled. Can't pick up much nose, just some light malty grains. But the taste does bring up some specialty Belgian malt, complemented by some bit of sweetness. Actually gotta work nicely with a bag of locally made gruyere & garlic breadsticks. catching a bit of warm ferment spiciness. And some yeast dregs at the end, even of my little taster glass.

2006 Cellar dweller. Golden pour that turns hazy brown in the glass, thanks to plenty of large floaties. A little fizz, but not enough to put up a head. Definite honey and light Muscat grape nose. A few off notes, or maybe it's some of the spices. Pleasant taste, like a light mead, perhaps. Then some sweet white wine, supported by definite fizz. Fruit and honey continue, with probably more malt sweetness in the mix. Even a little chili pepper at the edges of my tongue. I've been clearing more of old beers that aren't imperial stouts, but finding nice surprises like this one.

Pours a hazy light lager color under a big head. Just a light beer smell, not really much strawberry to be found. Taste is kind of nice. Smooth commercial beer palate, just a little fruit at the edge. Texture is kind of creamy.

Gold in the glass, with a slight haze. Thin layer of foam. A slight fruit nose, not much hop. A citrus and tropical smell does start to build. The taste still brings in some piney US hops, with a little side of green leaves.
