After 14 years on Ratebeer it's time for a change of scene! I enjoy all styles of beers, accept for the crappy industrial lager stuff. Not especially keen on the race for 70,000 ticks. More interested in discovering new flavours and experiences. Cheers, Brian

Visited during December 2025. Really nice spot in the Józsefváros district. 8 fridges stuffed with Hungarian and international craft beer. Both the new waved stuff and Belgian and German classics, pricevise ranging from Czech lagers to eye watering expensive American meads. Prices are fair given the distance to the overcrowded, touristflooded city centre. Also 6-8 quality beers on tap. Everything is drink-in or to-go. You can enjoy the beers upstairs. Cheerful staff that spoke good English.Well recommended and a top 5 spot in Budapest.

33 cl can picked up at the brewery. Slightly hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Sweet aroma with pale malts, grasses, a pepper note. Herbal hoppy bitterness. The taste is bitter. Medium body. Dry and bitter finish. Rather bitter for a Märzen. Still tasty, trough.
