I am sure I rated this place on RateBeer, but that was years ago anyways and it’s good to have a fresh rating anyways… A fairly high end restaurant with extensive Belgian beer list. Nothing really unique but a few new gems. Definitely worth a visit for the food. Reservations required for the dinner period but possible to sneak in prior without.

330 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with light head. Aromas of chocolate malts, mineral water, dark fruit and bready malts. Flavors of figs, copper, chocolate, a bit of Belgian yeast and a lot of chocolate malts. Hot finish. Pushing the style limits for a Quad with the chocolate flavors and very big bready malts, but also quite tasty.

330 ml bottle. Pours a dull copper color with moderate foamy head. Aromas of dried fruit, apple pie including the spice, and bready malts. Flavors follow same. Some oxidation showing the age, but otherwise very enjoyable.

Classy place with extensive Belgian beer menu well beyond Trappist and sours. Very nice tapas selection as well. Can get busy, but relatively quiet mid day. Worth the experience when in Bruges.

330 ml bottle. Pours a bright amber with light head. Aromas of fruity Belgian yeast, stoned fruit and bready malts. Flavors of bitter citrus, herbal almost earthy hops and dry toasted malts. Quite a difference between nose and taste with the latter quite bitter.

On tap. Pours a dull amber with light head. Aromas of barnyard, apricot, and wheaty malts. Flavors follow same with additional rhubarb. Slight tart finish and fairly mellow overall. Pretty much as expected. Refreshing.

Small shop a little off the tourist track. Eclectic selection of craft and meads with several beers not seen elsewhere. Rustic backyard with a handful of tables where one can drink the purchases. And very nicely shaded on a 30 degree Thursday afternoon in June. Definitely work a visit.
