Drunk after the not-very-inspiring French buffet night of our tourist bunker. Clear light amber with thin head, apricot sponge cake nose with honey notes. Nice mild flavor of apricot, not much bitterness for IPA tbh but it's a good amount for a slim session beer. Tasty.

Bottle from the hipermarket drunk overlooking a pile of drunk sunburned tourists getting jiggy to bad pop & techno music along Playa de Troya. Super high carb, mostly head on first gentle pour, thick brownish foam on mostly black beer. Roasted, hoppy nose that reminds me of some West Coast imperial stouts. Relatively sweet but with tons of hops to balance: big citrus, very smooth, nice black-and-chocolate-malty complexity. I'd guess there was a bit of extra fermentation still going in the bottle. Excellent (if over-carbed) black IPA!

Bottle in the hotel room at Playa Troya after Asian night, at which I ate a huge pile of sushi. Hazy amber, lasting tall head, passion fruit cotton candy and light malt nose. Nice flavor, smooth mild caramel with juicy tropical notes and a hint of pine. Great balance and smooth bitterness, one of the tastiest of the trip so far.

Sample of my wife's beer. Pretty malty-grainy, decent but indeterminate bitterness, alright for a mass produced lager.

3.4%, drunk in Tenerife. Very smooth. Mild bitterness, a bit thin but flavorful enough for this kind of climate. Light grain notes but more complex than the local lagers.

Can drunk at the hotel pool in Tenerife. Not awful for a cheap non alcoholic, grainy and not very much bitterness, watery hay and soggy hops. Yay hydration.

Taste at the hotel in Tenerife. Lots of caramel, earthy hop bitterness, a bit sweet/malty. It's alright for a mass produced wannabe-premium beer.

Drunk in the hotel in Tenerife, if you can believe it. Thin and grainy, was brew day rainy? Slight cardboard, not one to hoard. Could be worse, sorry this is terse.
