Light Brown, moderately hazy, small head for a Weißbier. Yeasty nose, light banana. Decent flavor, slightly roasty notes and lots of banana. Alright winter Weißbier with good body.

Bottle from Orterer, drunk watching Fallout. Hazy amber with an orange tint, small head. Juicy pineapple-orange nose. Smooth bitterness that's balancing well with the remaining sugars and body. Moderate citrusy-light pine hop flavors. Fresh and eminently drinkable.

Can drunk at home in the theater. I think from Mr. Hop. Canned 11 months ago. Lightly hazy amber, moderate head. Very perfumed fruity nose: apricot jam, tropical-ish notes. Flavor is a bit artificial fruity at first, with a more beer like piney West Coast flavor coming through at the end. It just doesn't do it for me, although it's not bad.

Day10 of the Beer Republic Advent calendar, drunk after getting the new bass to a playable state. I love all the pickups! The beer if from July. Mostly clear, crisp nose with caramel and light pine. Mild lemony citrus joins in the flavor, sharp but not overwhelming bitterness. West coast styles definitely age better than hazys!

Bottler from the brewery, drunk watching Chief of War. Dark reddish brown, nice head. Nose is very lightly farmhouse sour, dark malt. There's smoke on the tongue, woody notes, dry but with a flavorful complex body. Very earthy and chewy flavor. It reminds me of a barrel aged Flemish red! Really nice, going to let it warm up a bit more to drink the second half.

Day 23 of the Beer Republic Advent calendar, date stamp 7/22/2025. Yellow amber hazy, moderate head, nose of faded citrus and pineapple. Flavor shows promise, light maltiness matching smooth bitterness, reminders of tropical hoppiness that once was there. But it's just too old for this style, need to drink in Sep not Jan. Extra point knowing it's not the brewery's fault.

Bottle picked up at the brewery, drunk while waiting a long 2 wks for lacquer to cure. Mostly clear gold, decent head. Nice fat lager nose with rich hop notes. Light malty sweetness, very present mid-palate bitterness that lasts, complex barley undertones of freshly cut hay. Super fresh and very tasty, great traditional style beer from Higgins!
