Bottle at Jonas and Ursula's party, thanks! Gold with a great head, fresh hay and grain nose, very big and flavorful summer hay field taste with a complex big bitterness (almost IPA level). Really awesome!

Drunk with dinner at 21:30 after the longest day, watching Shaw and Randa with dueling strategies about Titan X. Medium gold, tall head, nice spicy/sweet helles nose. Flavor and body are a bit thin, grainy and a bit of malty sweetness with a minimum of earthy hop character/bitterness. Alright.

Drunk at Karl Shedhalle watching the company band play covers pretty well. Very grainy, almost rye, light floral hops. Alright in between real beers at a company party but not blowing me away.

Drunk at Karlstraße Shedhalle. Mild astringency, decent bitterness, not too exciting but quite drinkable. Nice grain backbone.

Bottle drunk at home after a lazy Sunday and some sake at dinner. Brown amber hazy, moderate white head with a lightly sour-ish sharp & yeasty nose. Great flavor, complex esters and and yes I think kandis sugar. Big and very smooth bitterness with a hint of farmhouse character. Hay blanket and leather straw yadda yadda. Delicious one!

Can drunk at home in the theater. Medium black with a team head, lightly roasted nose with mild hay+molasses notes. The flavor is smooth and straightforward, mild dark malty notes, moderate bitterness. Pretty good, not outstanding, bit very drinkable.

Drunk in a desperate situation when usually I wouldn't be going for a half liter Bock on a Wednesday but now it's saving my mind since I need something stronger than Helles. Clear dark amber, moderate head, dry lightly smoky nose. Flavor is very clearly smoke based, but not as biting as the well known dark Bamberger Märzen. Slightly malty overtones with an earthy bitterness that melds with the smoke very well. Nice Rauchbier!

Bottle drunk in Südtirol after Easter Friday glacier skiing and a pizza. Medium brown with a small tan head and roasted-coffee-malty citrus nose. Big and citrusy lemon-orange bitterness really balances the caramel sweetness. Very tasty.

Drunk in Südtirol after a dinner of lamb, asparagus, and roasted potatoes with Lucente red. Darkest brown, moderate light brown head, nose of roasted malt and coffee. Nice brown sugar notes, balanced superbly by big citrusy bitterness - wow that's a great combination. Best of the Senatsbock so far this year but I still have one or two left to go.

Bottle from the brewery, consumed after several Limoncello Spritzes in Naturno whilst reading about Florida Man getting his due after having stolen a Black woman's winning lotto ticket (naturally, in fictional Florida). Light hazy orange amber, citrusy nose, mild and well integrated orange-lemon taste a bit like a Weißbier with the slice of lemon as often served in the USA. Could also be a Belgian Wit, were there coriander (there is not). Quite a tasty one!
