Time Capsule cider with events on the day of drinking including the UK signing a deal to pass back the Chagos Islands back to Mauritius; A small plane crashes into houses in San Diego; Work begins to repair an undersea electricity cable in the Baltic Sea damaged by a ship's anchor in December. There's a minimum cloudiness to this sweetish tasting golden cider. Some bitterness in its finish. Good texture and mouthfeel.

One of my now gone dogs used to use the pub furniture to scratch his back with. Cask pour in September 2024 at the Leopard pub in Norwich city centre, on the north side of the river. Clear golden with a bubbly head. Fairly hoppy, somewhat dry, and could be sessionable if you encounter it.

Beer Number #19 tried at the Clitheroe Beer Festival 2025. Pale gold, first and only key keg purchased. Hopped, tropical fruit, lots of sugars too, very heavy mix, especially with a bubbly texture. Maintains decent enough tropical fruit flavours albeit slightly dirty tasting.

This beer was called Raleside Rum Porter and is a rebadge of Fuzzy Duck's own of the same name at the Raleside Brewhouse in Blackpool. At the time of writing any other cask beer with a Raleside pump clip is also a rebadge. Dark brown, thick light-brown creamy head, smooth texture to match. Decent body with a dark malt character verging on roasted.

Blackpool's heyday as a seaside town is often seen as the 1930's as decline in numbers set in after the war, however visitor numbers nearly 100 years later show there are now over three times as many people visiting annually than the 7 million to the destination a century ago. Cloudy, slightly dank yellow colour. Tropical fruit, oaty style flavours to match.

Deadication beer to Hans Berger - not quite the beef one but his beef was to record the first electronic brain activity back in 1924, known as an EEG, he was born on this day in 1873. Not blurry at all, golden with a glow, hopped, session beer.

Blackpool's Pleasure Beach now has a ticketed entry system, however previously anyone could walk around the park, with entry to each ride accessed by ripping off the relevant level of token from a pre-bought token sheet. Clear golden with a small head. Fair west Coast style, good nose, lesser in taste.

Blackpool's Golden Mile is a mecca for fast food, sweets and the traditional fish & chips with ketchup, sauces and mustard! Gourmet is not on the menu! Golden with minimum haze and a creamy head. Hoppy with decent amounts of tropical fruit available in both aroma and taste.
