Greenhead Beer Festival 2025, Beer#5. Dank golden with a good head rescuing its appearance, about as opposite as a west coast pale should look! Nevertheless its appearance matters little as it's a fair hoppy-fruity brew in both aroma and taste with underlying tropical notes.

Greenhead Beer Festival 2025, Beer#4. Slightly danker golden coloured session brew, but maintains a decent hoppy fruitiness, with more of the fruitiness, in both aroma and taste.

Greenhead Beer Festival 2025, Beer#3. Easy enough, pleasant water fruity session ale with a mix of stone and tropical. Just going to leave a footnote that this might possibly be version 111 received by the festival and not 112 as per the pump clip.

Greenhead Beer Festival 2025, Beer#2. Golden with minimum haze for first pale of the festival. Nice mix of fruits in aroma, a little steadier in taste with hints of the aforementioned. Light fruity session.

Greenhead Beer Festival 2025, Beer#1. Black starter as the rest I want are much paler. The additions of the biscuit make this a rich tasting but flavoursome stout.

Watching some European club football with this one, with Hibernian putting in a peachy performance against Partizan so far. This one is most peach in aroma, with enough available in taste, which has a hoppiness about it too. Easy enough texture and strength, although perhaps a little rich in the fruit to be sessionable. Clear golden despite the name.

I don't expect to be still awake and drinking at one in the morning tonight - it might spoil the beer festival i'm off to tomorrow. This is certainly a strength-infused hop heavy effort with mild tropical fruits, but a more dominant and a little dirty, pine aroma and taste. Appearance on the orange side of the colour spectrum with a bit of a haze.
