13oz can pours a leggy, translucent brown with a ring of white head. All gets better from here. Nose has all the things, malt, barrel, caramel, raisin, vanilla, dates. Its big, but it's so damn smooth. Caramel, raisin, apple chips, butterscotch, malt, dates, figs in the mouth. Full, sweet but not hot and dangerously easy to drink.

12oz can. Fairly clear gold for a hazy IPA. Thick white head. Another can past it's prime. Nose has paper and dried orange peel, lemon candy. Dried herbs. Flavor is a touch better. Lemon lime soda, straw, flowers but it is papery. Thin finish. I bet there wasn't much happening to begin with and then it caught some age.

Goblet in DC. Pulp. Opaque. White head. Nose has grass and fresh cream. Mosaic to the face. Oats and grist meld well with the creamy mosaic. Grassy. Green citrus. Medium full, barely off dry.

50cl bottle. Pours an oily, opaque black, no head, medium legs. Nose has cola and cherry (but definitely not cherry cola), licorice, Kirsch. Flavor has so much cherry, juice but also cordial. Cocoa envelopes. Licorice too. Full, sweet, sticky, boozy finish.

Sample at the roost. Murky, but watery yellow, white head. Starchy nose, wheat and dried herbs and dried citrus peel. Dried pineapple. Flavor is weird, key lime and herbs, dried grasses and light grist. Feels old. Light in the palate, lightly fruity.

Sample at the roost. Listed in the smoke section. Mostly clear dark garnet amber with a ring of off white head. Nose has date, malt, candy sugar. Some baking spice. Some smoke like burnt candy. Flavor is meatier. Sausage arrives along with lightly smoked wood chips. Candy feels more like cough syrup here. Dates and raisins are still there and the baking spice gets crushed by smoke. Tannic and oily finish.

12oz pour at the roost. Human Robot? And pulp! Whar is the world coming to? Starchy, opaque yellow with some clingy white head. Nose has a little cheese curd that blew off, stone fruits, herbs and oats. Flavor cranks it up, breakfast cereal and yellow cake, tropicals line over ripe papaya, canned peaches too. Full, fluffy and off dry. I really dig this.
