My Stats (Click one to view detailed breakdowns)
For me one proper and honest beer review is more worth than 100 ticks without any relevant content. It’s all about respect for the beer and the craftmanship behind. I will always try to do my best for a proper rating than playing the number game.

On tap @ Kaapse Kaap. Nice refreshing version of a hoppy weizen close to a White IPA. Both sweetness from the wheat and fruty bitterness from the hops in fine balance.

On tap @ Kaapse Kaap. Decent, refreshing Cold IPA that reminds me of a hoppy lager with realtivly moderate hop profile.

Can purchased from Café de Oude Sluis, Rotterdam. Sweet imp. Stout based pastry beer. Smells fantastic like chocolate caramel desert. Very sweet, but some balance in bitterness and alcohol. Not very salt, but enough to give this particular salty caramel flavor together with lots of chocolate. Not a favorite by me, but well made within it’s style.

Can purchased from Café de Oude Sluis, Rotterdam. A black saison, not very typical even as a black version of a sasion, still nice. Strong on dark malt and toffee, mild roast, some dark fruit, slightly boozy. Wood and even more caramel in aftertaste.

Bottle purchased from Café de Oude Sluis, Rotterdam. Almost clear, deep golden body under a fine white head. Aroma is complex and unusually, super smooth malt, mild toffee, some kind of undefined fruit or herb (Agave), mild wood and surprisingly mild Tequila taste. The alcohol is recognized but not boozy at all. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste. Can’t believe this silk smooth beer at 12% ABV.

Bottle @ Kaapse Maria. Dark brown body under a fine, big, creamy beige head. Strong and complex aroma, dark, roasted malt, dry fruit, wood, acidic berries. Taste has the same including balanced bitterness. Quite amazing to get this much taste out of a 4,2% ABV beer. Balanced body with a really nice and long lasting aftertaste. Super nice and impressive.
