For me one proper and honest beer review is more worth than 100 ticks without any relevant content. It’s all about respect for the beer and the craftmanship behind. I will always try to do my best for a proper rating than playing the number game.

Can @ Patricks. Hazy yellow golden body under a white head. Refreshing with dominating fruity hops. Citric and tropical. Smooth, soft, light malt. Creamy mouthfeel. Medium bitterness. Nice, rather average NEIPA.

Can @ Patricks. Almost clear deep golden to amber body under a big, creamy, lacing tan head. Aroma has malt and a herbal touch. Taste is sweet malt, herbs, moderate bitterness. Finish ends quite dry and feels slightly bitter-sour. Not very typical Belgium style this.

Tap @ Patricks. Surprisingly clear golden body under an off-white head. Sweet malt, refreshing fruity, some pine, nice bitterness. Decent but a bit on the sweeter side IMO.

Forgotten backlog. A fine, classic old school IPA. A solid malt base with hint of caramel in combination with refreshing, citric fruity hops, some resin and pleasant, decent bitterness. I'm normally sceptical to LITE versions, but this one is surprisingly close to the regular IPA from nøgne, of course difficult to compare without having them side by side, but this one ticks off all blocks for a nice, classic IPA the way Nøgne use to do them from the very start.

Bottle @ Herøya. Dark brown body under a small dense beige head. Aroma has mild roasted dark malt, liquorice, wood and dry fruit. Taste has a fine balance between sweetness and alcohol, a bit vinous with dark malt, dry fruit, liquorice and wood. Fine body with ling lasting aftertaste. A fine, strong beer with balanse and complexity.

Can @ Herøya.
Unclear brown body under a beige head that fades relatively fast. Aroma dominated by aquavit then dry fruit and caramel malt.
Taste is sweet and alcoholic with caramel malt dry fruit chinamon wood and aquavit.
Full bodied with strong, sweet and boozy aftertaste. A bit bittersweet almost harsh aftertaste. A heavy and promising beer, but seems to overdo. Too much of everything IMO. Drinking the whole can by myself ends up too sweet and too boosy for my taste. Missing some balance.

Can @ Herøya. Slightly unclear golden body under a white head. Aroma has a nice balance between malt and hops. Grain, citric fruits, grass and pine. Taste is really smooth with soft malt, grain and a fruity hop variety with a slightly tiny, bitter finish. The all over impression is a well made and tasty classic IPA leaning a bit towards a modern take on the British IPA. Nice.

Bottle @ Herøya. Slightly unclear pale golden body under a big white head. Fruity aroma with a floral touch and hint of candy. Taste is light malty with refreshing, exotic fruits. Pineapple, apricot, tangerine, mango. Also floral and slightly spicy with fresh grass and bubble gum/ candy. Balanced sweetness and bitterness. Balanced body as well and same flavours towards aftertaste. Very nice, slightly exotic and refreshing.

Bottle @ Herøya. Slightly unclear golden body under a fine white head. Aroma has malt and fruity hops. Taste has soft, smooth malt and citric fruity hops. Moderate but pleasant bitterness. Nothing extraordinary here, but simply a very nice, tasty, balanced well brewed beer somewhere between a classic IPA and British IPA. Not too sweet but a distinct, proper malt flavor in fine harmony with the hops.
