Backlog September 2012. Deep reddish body without any head. Aroma has fruit, berries, ginger, other spices and alcohol. Taste is sweet and spicy with dry fruit and warming alcohol. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste. Much like a beer version of mulled wine, quite delicious.

Backlog September 2012. Black body under a big, brown head. Strong aroma of dark malt, vanilla, chocolate and whisky. Taste is sweet, dark, roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla, chilli, alcohol and less whisky flavour than expected. Fine body with long lasting aftertaste. Hot chilli, vanilla and alcohol in aftertaste. Bold and nice beer.

Backlog September 2012. Black body under a fine, big, stable brown head. Strong and nice aroma of dark malt, mocha, coffee, some dry fruit and warming alcohol. Taste is sweet malt, coffee, chocolate, dry fruit, nice bitterness and warming alcohol. Fine body with long lasting aftertaste. Really great stuff.

Backlog September 2012 as 10,4% version. Black body under a big beige head. Strong aroma of dark roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee and alcohol. Taste is sweet, dark malt, molasses, chocolate, coffee, nice bitterness and warming alcohol. Fine body with long lasting aftertaste. Solid and nice.

Nice, quite clean straight forward cider. Fine balanse in sweetness, acidity, body and carbonation. Alcohol is well hidden. Refreshing and taste.

Backlog September 2012. Slightly unclear deep reddish body under e fine, big, beige head. Aroma of sweetish malt, dry fruit and quite vinous. Taste is sweet malt, dry fruit, some oak, vinous acidity and warming alcohol with balanced bitterness. Fine body with long lasting aftertaste. Nice and solid.

Backlog September 2012. Clear, slightly reddish golden body under a nice, big off-white head. Aroma is fruity and malty with some toffee. Taste is smooth and sweet with grain, mild malt, ripe fruit and medium bitterness. Medium, body with smooth aftertaste. Not particular bitter for an IPA, but a decent and smooth beer in general terms.

Can @ Home. Clear, amber golden body under a tan/pale beige head. Aroma is malty with bread and hint of dry fruits. Taste is similar to aroma, malt based with bread, some toffee, hint of dry fruit, moderate bitterness and hint of nuts. Medium body and average aftertaste with sweet malt. A bit one-dimensional but that’s the style. Decent within it’s style.

Can @ Håndverkeren. Unclear golden body under a white head. Aroma has grain and herbs. Taste is medium sweet grain with a lemon kind of acidity and a herbal touch. Moderate bitterness that plays along with the acidity in aftertaste and gives a slightly more bitter impression and actual bitterness I believe. Definitively not your everyday pale lager this, but I find it interesting and very refreshing.
