From my sake backlog. Bottle @ office. Very pale straw yellow, almost like water body without any carbonation. Mild aroma, slightly floral, hint of citric fruit, hidden alcohol. Taste is smooth, soft rice, hint of sweet citric fruit, mild, warming alcohol in aftertaste with umami. Balanced body with medium lasting, soft aftertaste. Nice, clean and gentle sake.

From my sake backlog. Bottle. Clear, slightly oily body almost without any color and no carbonation. Aroma is mild and delicate, hint of rice, citric fruit, yeast, ripe fruit and mild alcohol. Feels stronger and more distinct in aroma after a little while. Quite smooth in taste, sweet rice, hint of ripe fruit, umami, light yeast, fine balance between sweetness and acidity, clean expression, alcohol is well hidden. Fine balanced body and rather long aftertaste with a dry ending. Nice, clean and sake at a very affordable price.

From my sake backlog. Bottle, courtesy of gunnfryd. Clear, pale straw yellow body with a slightly oily texture. No head of course as expected. Looks close to perfect for the style. Strong aroma, citric fruit, matured pear, mild wood, distinct and warming alcohol and hint of petroleum. Taste has sweet citric fruit, pear, hint of marzipan, wood and slightly sharp, warming alcohol. Body feels well balanced with medium lasting aftertaste. Experiencing my first Taru style sake this was interesting, the mature sake flavor is obvious but the cedarwood impact where less than expected, probably not a disadvantage, I think. All over a fair balanced and nice sake for sipping and relaxing. Perhaps a bit domination at the alcoholic part but all-over fine sake if enjoyed as I’s made for with respect for the art and not just a quick sip during a massive beer tasting in boozer ticker style.

From my sake backlog. Bottle. Unclear, pale, white/golden body with small bubbles and a small head which disappears immediately. Mild aroma of rice, sake yeast, hint of citric fruit and ashes. Refreshing fruity in flavor, almost a bit surprising, a bit like fruity tonic water, hint of lemon, sweet and slightly acidic. The yeast and rice flavor is more in the background but more distinct in the aftertaste. Medium body and fine aftertaste. Very easy drinkable, probably a nice introduction to Sake. Refreshing and enjoyable, with some authentic flavors intact.

From my sake backlog. Bottle @ Niso Sushi in Sønderborg. Clear with no head, slightly oily body. Quite mild in aroma, mild rise, fruity in general and also a bit floral. Not much yeast and alcohol are well hidden. Flavor is smooth and mild, just hint of rice, some fruit and slightly warming aftertaste. Medium to thin bodied. Nice and easy, not very complex, should not offend anyone. Goes particular well with the pickled ginger.

Can@ home. Hazy, pale yellow golden body under a foamy white head leaving laces on glass. Strong juicy aroma with tropical fruits and pine. Taste is light, pale malt, tropical fruits, hint of lemon, slightly grassy and zesty bitterness. Light and refreshing all over.

It’s Ok as a ginger juice. Not too sweet and not too much spices. Refreshing and well balanced as the labels tells.

From my sake backlog. Bottle, served hot @ Niso Sushi in Sønderborg. Clear with no head. Mild herbal aroma with tea, some fruit and mild rice, some warming alcohol. Smooth and balanced flavor, herbal tea, fruits, rice and alcohol. Balanced body, nice aftertaste with fruit, yeast and alcohol. Nice, pretty straight forward, no off flavors, all in all pretty nice.
