Backlog May 2014. Clear, dark amber body under a fine, big, off-white head. Aroma has light roasted, dark malt and pine. Taste is roasted malt, fruity hops, pine and balanced bitterness. Balanced body and pleasant aftertaste. Sure a fine and well made black IPA this is.

Backlog May 2014. Dark amber body under a nice, lacing off-white head. Surprisingly mild aroma. Roasted malt and hint of chocolate. Taste in same direction, average sweet and malty with hint of chocolate, moderate bitterness and a light fruity touch. Not much impact from the Sauternes imo.

Backlog May 2014. Unclear orange body under a small off-white head. Aroma has caramel malt and some generic fruitiness. Taste is sweet, pale malt, same generic fruit as in aroma and moderate bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste. Not much going on here really.

Can @ home. Unclar golden body under a nice, foamy white head. Aroma and taste like a fine, classic old school IPA. Sweet malt, dominating dry fruit hops and balanced bitterness. Balanced body and pleasant aftertaste. A really nice, straight forward, well made IPA.
