Can at home and a beer that is so hip I'm surprised it can see over it's own pelvis. To quote Zaphod Beeblebrox. Good pour and an assault of hops on the nose. And on the tongue! They took off the inside of my mouth and this was too much. Not enjoyed at all.

Gift from a good friend. Insipid pour, doesn't look like much in the glass. And it tastes watery. Not worth the units.

Can from somewhere. Great pour and a huge nose of rich liquorice. It was gorgeous. The taste is all rich malts and coffee and more than a bit of savoury. This is not pastry stout nonsense, this is a proper real ale taken to the next level by something special. The mouthfeel just goes on and on. This is stunning.

Pint at the Cross Keys in The City. This was ok, but really nothing special. It was just beer..... No hops, no nothing. Could just be another macro

Pint in the Cross Keys in The City. Loads going on with flavours of hops and malt. Well balanced and more like a rich bitter.

Train beer at King's Cross. No idea what this looks like, but this is one of my favourite breweys and it doesn't disappoint. Complexity, mouthfeel and just lovely.

Pint of cask at the Jampot in the City. It's a reasonable pint, nothing special and nothing bad. But I moved on to Spitfire after this so draw your own conclusions.

Can ar home. Odd colour in the glass and an odd taste and mouthfeel. Too sweet and more like a soft drink. Not great at all and I have another 3 cans.

Pint in the Williams Ale & Cider House in Spitalfields. Met up with my old besr friend from school who was in London from San Francisco. I hadn't seen him for 10 years and there was a lot of catching up. It was great to see him. And the beer was really good. Rich, more malt than hops and just plane tasty. Interestingly I had a pint of Landlord afterwards and it was nowhere near as good.
