473ml can. Murky, pale yellow-ish, bright golden colour with small to average, frothy, fading, white head. Dank, piney and citrusy fruity, minimalyl tropical fruity, hoppy aroma, oaty and slightly wheaty malty background, notes of pine needles, grapefruit, some lime, no "pure" tropical fruity flavours without aspects of coniferes or even rosemary. Taste is quite bitter, citrusy fruity and piney hoppy, oaty and wheaty malty, minimally biscuity, pale basis with some residual sweetness, notes of lemon, grapefruit, hints of pine needles, lime, every indication of tropical fruity flavours merges to piney and resinous; minimally more citrusy and sweet-ish, biscuity finish.

Very nice composition, rather piney and bitter for a New England style IPA - pretty good!

750ml bottle [#957/2200]. Jet black colour with small to average, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, tan head. Very nice coffee flavours, flattering sweetness, not overly complex, almost a bit monotonous though, or, more positively, very focussed; sadly minimally overcarbonated - very tasty in all its "simplicity".
Mediocre concerning "secondary" qualities (appearance, texture), in a way rather "primed cold coffee" than beer, but in the end a very tasty concoction.

500ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, amber colour with average, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Creamy texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine, dense, soft, creamy carbonation.
Rather sweet, not really clumsy, but definiely "Altbayerisch", if "Altbayerisch" is defined as "not as refreshing as a >modern< Hefeweizen", could be even more dirty and rural for me - enjoyable if you like a re-interpretaion of actually surmounted drawbacks. [Or: if you don't follow "arbitrary", socially constructed, actual trends].
