Schooner on tap at Mona, Hobart. Pours a crystal clear golden amber with a thin white head. Sweet malt nose. Nice lacing. Sweet malt taste with a little grain and late bitter hops. Lingering hop finish, tinny bitterness at the end. Very nice lager clean and refreshing.

Schooner on tap at Mona, Hobart. Golden Amber beer with a thin white head and medium carbonation. Nice lacing. Clean malt nose, some grain. Grainy taste, classic Pils. Refreshing, sharp tinny finish. Does exactly what it's supposed to do.

Pint on tap at The Brick Factory, Hobart. Very dark cola-brown beer with a thin layer of crema on top. Patchy lacing. Coffee nose, hint of dark fruit perhaps. Fizzy, medium bodied. Finish has dark chocolate and very late lingering cherry. Interesting beer, definitely a lager but with a subtly complex flavour profile. Also....I got a FREE beanie!

Schooner on tap at The Den, Hobart. Hazy amber beer with a foamy white head. Sharp herbaceous nose, some tropical fruit. Smooth mouthfeel. Creamy fruity goodness, quite light. Finish is very short and dry, like guava juice and mineral water. Very easy to drink.

375ml bottle at Wrest Point Casino, Hobart. I can't believe I haven't rated this before but here we go. Pours a golden amber with some sparkle but no head and minimal carbonation. Aroma is mild apple. Zingy, slightly oily texture. Watery hollow finish, lingering apple cores. Not brilliant but much more drinkable than some of the insanely sweet things being sold as cider at the moment.

Schooner on tap at New Sydney Hotel, Hobart. Looks like flat cola. Zero carbonation, zero head. Mild sweet fruit nose, apple and cherry. Slight zing, nice body. Medium sweet taste of cherry and apple (duh). Quite dry finish, tart apple and background cherry. Looks terrible, tastes terrific.

On tap at Winter Feast, Dark Mofo. Hazy pale green yellow with a slight trace of suds. Very faint apple aroma. Zero carbonation. Medium body, flat mouthfeel. Medium sweet apple taste and finish. A touch of lingering acidic sherbet. Very easy to drink.

On tap at winter feast, Dark Mofo. Pale green/yellow with slight film of suds. Some haze.Nose is tart apple. Flat mouthfeel, tart apple taste. Finish is certainly dry with a touch of lingering sherbet. Nice dry cider.

Schooner on tap at Town Hall Hotel, Hobart. Pours a pale yellow with a nice head of white foam. Slight haze. Lemon nose with a touch of hoppy bitterness. Some lacing. Bitter and refreshing, nice malt/citus balance. As an 'everyday' lager, this is very good. Miles ahead of the macros
