Pint on tap at The Charming Squire, Brisbane. Pours an opaque light brown. Thin white head. Strong pineapple nose, quite acidic. Nice lacing, Sour, dry, yeasty finish. Light body, watermelon dominates the lingering finish. Very nice sour, quality quencher in the horrible Brisbane humidity.

Schooner on tap at Springfield Tavern. Pale translucent green/grey. A few bubbles cling. Zero head, pleasant sweet ginger nose. Zingy in the mouth, very sweet, easy drinking. Slight cardboard finish, a little bit of ginger burn. Drinkable mid-strength alternative but an absolute rip off ($13).

375ml can into pint glass. From BWS, Glen Innes. Pours a caramel amber colour with a large head of white foam. Many tiny bubbles ascend. Manky nose of grass, caramel, nettles. Light body, easy drinking. Not much depth, finish is mildly bitter with hints of caramel. It's all up front with this one.

330ml bottle into glass. From BWS, Glen Innes. Pale amber beer with a nice head of white foam. Smells of grain and faint lemon. High fine carbonation. Nice lacing. Light fizz, refreshing with a touch of lemon in the finish. You could slam this real quick. Inconsequential quaffer.

Schooner on tap at Kiama Leagues Club. Pours a very Hazy amber/orange. Slight citrus nose, fresh. Thin white head. Nice lacing. Malty, smooth, easy drinking. Some refreshing grapefruit bitterness to finish. Solid quaffer
