More of a pale lager flavor versus a pilsner, with a slightly sharper, crisper finish. Very smooth and clean. Lightly sweet. Straightforward and good. Medium-light body. Medium carbonation. Not bitter.

330ml bottle from Casa Moritz in Barcelona, Spain. Pours a semi-clear gold color with an off-white head and great retention. Good lacing too. Light pale malt aroma. Very smooth and clean pale malt flavor with a soft finish. Minimal pilsner malt flavor. Easily repeatable. Light body. Lighter than average carbonation. Low bitterness. Maybe not a great pilsner, but it’s a good lager.

500ml can from Carrefour Express in Brugge, Belgium. Pours a clear pale gold color with a white head and good retention. Decent lacing. Light bready malt aroma. The taste follows the nose: Light bready malt flavor throughout. Tastes more like a Helles than a blonde ale in my opinion. Smooth and clean. Medium-light body and medium-light carbonation. Not bitter. A nice light beer.

Light pale malt aroma. Basic pale lager flavor with some very minor chemical notes in the finish. Nothing "Especial," but acceptable flavor at an excellent price. Light body. Lighter than expected carbonation. Low bitterness.

Standard hoppy flavor with a light to moderate bitter finish. Pretty typical IPA fare. I'm not getting any of the supposed stone fruit, currant, or citrus notes. Medium body and medium carbonation. 330ml bottle at LeRoy D'Espagne, in Brussels, Belgium. Pours a brilliant, crystal clear gold color with a very large white head and excellent retention. Mostly pale malt aroma with some very light yeast notes. Definitely has more of an ale taste versus a lager taste with some honey notes. Thankfully, no yeast flavor. Not a lot of flavor overall. Super smooth and clean. Medium body. Very low carbonation. Low bitterness. The 7.4% ABV is completely invisible. Nothing much to like or dislike.

500ml draft at Cambrinus Cafe, in Brugge, Belgium. Pours an opaque dark gold color with a tight off-white head and excellent retention. Belgian yeast aroma. The taste is similar to the nose. Typical Belgian blonde ale profile with yeasty flavor up front and fruity esters in the finish. Not my preferred style. Medium-heavy body. Medium-light carbonation. Light bitterness. Good for the style?
