330ml can from Lidl in Lisbon, Portugal. Pours a crystal clear dark amber color with a small white head and fair retention. Almost no lacing. Light nutty aroma. The flavor is a mix of sweet caramel malt up front and a dry, light, nutty finish. Smooth and clean. Maybe not the best brown ale, but I like the flavor. Very repeatable. And the 6.6% ABV is very well hidden. Medium body. Medium-light carbonation. Not bitter.

Draft beer at Maison Vincent, in Brussels, Belgium. Pours a cloudy gold color with a white head and decent retention. Decent lacing. Heavy yeast aroma, as expected. The taste follows the nose, with a yeast-forward flavor and strong fruity ester notes in the finish. Probably the strongest fruity esters I've tasted. Medium-light body and medium-light carbonation. Low bitterness. I'm not a wit fan, but this is tolerable.

Clean lager flavor up front, with a light pilsner malt finish. Not sharp. And not hoppy, in spite of the name. Medium body. Medium-light carbonation. Light bitterness. Very good.

500ml draft at the Golden Bar in Brussels, Belgium. Pours a clear, very dark ruby red color with an off-white head and decent retention. Decent lacing. Fruity aroma. Very sweet, fruity flavor too, with not much beer flavor. Tastes more like a cider than a fruit beer. More body than a cider. The 8.0% ABV is invisible. Low carbonation. Zero bitterness. Tasty, but I wouldn't want more than one.

500ml draft at De Sinjoor, in Antwerp, Belgium. Pours a clear gold color with a medium white head. Light yeast aroma. The flavor is not as yeasty as the aroma. Tastes more like a golden ale versus a Belgian blonde. The 8.5% ABV comes through in a warming way, not aggressive. Smooth and clean. Medium+ body and very low carbonation. Low bitterness. Better than I expected, but still not my favorite style.
