Nutty and roasted malt flavor with a hint of chocolate in the finish. Smooth and clean and very easy drinking. Medium-light body. Slightly thin for a brown ale. Higher than expected carbonation. Low bitterness. Repeatable. And the 6.3% ABV is invisible.

12 oz. can from Total Wine. Pours a clear gold color with a white head and very good retention. Decent lacing. Standard light pale lager aroma. This has a weird chemical flavor to it, with some light diacetyl notes in the finish. False advertising: This is not a super good lager. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Low bitterness. Crisp mouthfeel. Bad can? Disappointing.

12 oz. can from the 12 Days of Beer 12-pack from Aldi. Pours a mostly clear pale yellow color with a small white head and fair retention. Zero lacing. Barely any pale malt aroma. Slightly sweet corny pale malt flavor. A generic yet decent light lager. Fine, but forgettable. Light body. High carbonation. Low bitterness.

12 oz. can from Publix. Pours a semi-clear gold color with a small white head and fair retention at best. A few spots of lacing. Strong fruit punch aroma. Fruit punch flavor too, but not as strong as the aroma, with a long finish. Not hoppy or bitter. More of an imperial fruit beer versus an imperial IPA. And the 9.5% ABV is very well hidden. Close to being alco-pop. Medium body. Medium-light carbonation. Lower than expected bitterness. Dangerously chuggable.

Tastes like a pilsner too, with just a hint of yeast. Clean and smooth. Crisp texture. Medium-light body. Medium-light carbonation. Low bitterness. A good anytime beer.

12 oz. can from Total Wine in Greenville, SC. Thanks Kathy! Pours a crystal clear gold color with a white head and very good retention. Decent lacing. Vanilla and light coffee aroma. The taste follows the nose, with a little more coffee flavor than vanilla, but they're both still there. Sweeter than I expected. Not enough roasted flavor for a stout. More like a light coffee blonde. Medium body. Medium-light carbonation. Low bitterness. Decent, in spite of the coffee notes.

12 oz. can from the 12 Days of Beer 12-pack from Aldi. Pours a hazy light gold color with a tiny white head that vanished instantly. Zero lacing. Nice mango aroma. Nice mango flavor too, but there’s not much beer flavor. The wheat base is super light and thin. Medium-high carbonation. No bitterness. A nice mango soda.
