Festival pint at Hole In The Wall pub, in London, England. Cask pour. It pours a mostly clear gold color with a small white head and good retention. Hoppier than anticipated aroma. Thankfully, this pale ale flavor is not as hoppy tasting as the aroma. Like a lot of the cask ales, it's pretty mellow overall. It's also fairly "British warm." Medium-light body. Low carbonation as expected for a cask pour. Light to moderate bitterness, but it's a soft bitterness. Overall, the taste is decent, but sadly, the higher serving temperature is a bit of a turn-off.

Festival pint at Hole In The Wall pub, in London, England. Raspberry aroma. Super sweet raspberry flavor. I don't know about the Mojito part, but this is sugar juice. Light body. Virtually no carbonation and definitely no bitterness. It's sweet but too sweet.

Festival pint at Golden Bee pub in Stratford-Upon-Avon, England. Cask pour. It pours a pitch black color with a small beige head and excellent retention. Excellent lacing. Very mild dark caramel and light coffee aroma. The flavor is very mild. No caramel notes. Super smooth and clean. This is a mild stout overall. The flavor's not super special, but the cask conditioning is super smooth, clean, and creamy. It's a medium-heavy body and low carbonation. Almost no bitterness. Great texture.

Festival pint at Golden Bee pub in Stratford-Upon-Avon, England. It pours a clear cranberry color with a small pink head and good retention. Great lacing too. Sweet berry aroma. Sweet berry flavor too. It's not dry like most ciders. It tastes like fruit juice. It's nice and juicy and sweet. Smooth and clean. Medium-light body and very low carbonation. No bitterness. This could be the best cider I've ever had!

Festival pint draft at the Shambles Pub in York, England. It pours a crystal clear yellow color with a small white head. Fair retention. No real aroma to speak of. This is a pretty straightforward pale lager profile. Pale malt flavor. No bitterness. Easy drinking. Smooth and clean. It's good, but nothing special. This does have a tiny Euro lager sulfur finish to it that knocks it down a peg.

Festival pint draft at the Shambles Pub in York, England. Pours a crystal clear rose color with no head or lacing. Strong raspberry aroma, as expected. Wow, this tastes like strawberry candy. More of a fruit juice versus a true cider. Very sweet. Thin body and low carbonation. Zero bitterness. It's a sweet candy cider. Very refreshing. Definitely not beer, but I like the taste.

500ml bottle. Drank from the bottle while riding through Newcastle, England. The Hobgoblin Gold is about as generic as any golden/blonde lager gets. It's fine. Euro pale malt flavor. Very minimal bread notes. It's just okay at best. Medium body and light carbonation. Light bitterness. Underwhelming.

Festival pint draft at the Waterloo Bar, Edinburgh, Scotland. Cask pour. Jumping in here to dodge the rain. It pours a clear dark amber color with a small beige head and excellent retention. Quasi nitro pour. No aroma at all. Tastes kind of like an ESB, but a little darker and maltier. Great texture. Very creamy. Medium body and low carbonation. Very low bitterness. Great texture but somewhat generic flavor.
