440ml can from M&S in London, England. Pours a pitch black color with a thick, light tan head and very good retention. Decent lacing. Dark roasted malt aroma. Very dark roasted flavor too. Nice caramel notes and lactose with enough bitter dark chocolate flavor for balance. Medium body and medium carbonation. Light bitterness. And the 8.0% ABV is really well hidden. Really good beer, and easily one of the best imperial stouts I've ever had.

19.2 oz. can from Total Wine. Pours an opaque gold color with a very large off-white head and annoyingly great retention. Very good lacing too. Lots of floaties present. Canned on 12/18/23. Thanks again, Total Wine! Citrus and booze aroma. The taste follows the nose, but both the citrus and booze flavors are more subtle than expected. Tired tangerine notes. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Not bitter. The 9.0% ABV is well hidden. Might actually be good if it was fresh.

12 oz. can from Total Wine. Pours a clear bronze color with a small khaki head and decent retention. No lacing. Caramel malt aroma. The taste follows the nose with caramel malt flavor dominant and not much else. Good flavor, even though it's one dimensional. Medium-light body. Slick texture. Very low carbonation. Almost flat. Not bitter. Tastes more like a flat Vienna lager. I like it, but it could be a lot better.

330ml can from Waitrose, in Bath, England. Gluten free. Pours a semi-clear, super light yellow color with a large white head and great retention. Decent lacing. Light artificial lemon aroma. Similar light lemon and grain flavor. Very weak lager flavor. Not beery enough. Light body. Lower than expected carbonation. Not bitter. It's better than a n/a beer, but not by much.

440ml can from Waitrose, in Bath, England. Pours a very dark brown color with dark ruby highlights and a large, thick, light tan head and excellent retention. Very good lacing. Dark chocolate aroma. The taste follows the nose, with sweet milk chocolate and dark bittering chocolate notes mixing together. Creamy texture. Super smooth and clean. Almost a dessert beer. Medium body. Medium-light carbonation. Low bitterness. And the 6.8% ABV is invisible. Great beer

500 ml bottle from Stonehenge, Salisbury, England. Pours a clear orange-bronze color with a thick khaki head and excellent retention. Very good lacing. Light caramel and light bitter aroma. The taste follows the nose, with even lighter caramel notes and a lightly bitter finish. Smooth and clean. I‘m not getting any of the fruity nose. A decent beer. At least these best bitters in bottles taste better than the tap offerings in England. Medium body. Medium-light carbonation. Light bitterness.
