From way back - a fairly standard pilsener, although I remember it being sold at a slight premium to other Martini beers.

On the fifth day of Christmas... 0,75l bottle from the brewery that I had kept for quite a while. Dark brown pour with stbale cream head. Aromas of oak, orange (peel), candied orange, bourbon, vanilla, cream. Taste is bourbon, vanilla, candied orange, cream/milk, chocolate, even a hint of cherries. Warm boozy finish. Should go well with desserts.

Blast from the past - long before craft beer, it was something different, but not overly Christmassy/wintery.

Remember this as a fairly decent Hefeweizen from back in ths days. The swing top made pouring a little challenging.

Malt, fresh orange and orange peel. Very nice for the ABV and definitely sessionable

On the fourth day of Christmas... Clear amber pour with a small white head. Aromas of malt, marmalade/candied orange (peel), some more citrus and caramel. Taste is quite similar. Quite nice overall, but not overly christmassy.
