If there are any Aussie RateBeer users on here who lost their ratings as a result of the shutdown, and want to transfer them to this site, get in contact as I may be able to provide some assistance. If my ratings seem consistently high, it's primarily because I've got to the point where I mainly drink the styles I like best, from the breweries who I know produce consistently good gear.

From a 440ml can on 2/9/2025. Pours a super deep brown with virtually no head. Smells of chocolate and caramel and a touch of fridge. Its' moderately sweet on the sip, with that typically Baltic porter character, with chocolate and caramel again presenting, along with promised maple syrup and some nuttiness. There's a gentle bitterness at the finish with the lightest of roasty notes. Fullish body with a slightly syrupy palate, and softish carbonation. Not super challenging and pretty straight forward, but smooth and enjoyable.

From a 375ml can on 2/9/2025. The original Supertrooper was one of the first Australian beers to really blow me away, and many years down the track, we now get a mandarin (and guava) version! Pours a hazy deep golden with a medium head. The nose is present and fruity with more than a hint of zesty mandarin. On the sip, it decently sweet and fruity, with the mandarin giving it distinctive tang that distinguishes from the original. Also has hints of my long time fridge filler, the Blood Orange, but with a good deal more heft. That said, it's way to smashable for a 10 per center. Has a silky, almost creamy mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Maybe not quite up there with the very best big hazies being produced here now, but excellent none the less.

From a 440ml can on 30/8/2025. Pours a lightly hazy deep golden with a medium head. The aroma is indeed very peachy, though also has an odd bit of refrigerator in it. Flavour wise, it's quite sweet and again peachy, with a slightly boozy, tangy finish. The palate is a touch creamy and the carbonation average to lively. Has its moments but doesn't quite come together enough to make it a complete success.

From a 473ml can on 30/8/2025. Pours a clear deep golden with a medium head. The nose features, caramel, biscuit, bread and pine. On the sip, proceedings begin with a chewy malt backbone promised by the aroma - caramel, biscuit and bread, with a dash of citrus fruit sweetness. It's indeed a hoppy beast, with lots of resin and pine coating the tongue, and while, it's not boozy, you sense the beer's heft. Full bodied with a slightly oily, syrupy palate, and average carbonation. Really impressive.

From a 440ml can on 27/8/2025. Pours a deepest brown with a medium light tan head. The aroma features chocolate, spice, nuts and some fridge notes. Tastes of chocolate, rye bread with some spicy and strong roasty notes in a very firm and lingering bitter finish. The palate is lightly creamy, the carbonation average. Bracket are (imho) the king of hazies in Oz, but it's rare to find anything they make that doesn't impress. Pretty full on and chock full of character.
