8.3/10 β€” Appearance 8 Aroma 8.5 Flavor 8.5 Texture 8 Overall 8
Reviewed from notes.
On tap at Foam Brewers on 07/10/2017.
Poured into a tulip.
Appearance: dark yellow to orange color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: pineapple, apricot, passion fruit and light gooseberries; light clean malts
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine bittersweet juicy quality with a fine finish of the passion fruit and pineapple
Texture: medium bodied, great as a sipper; some smoothness along the tongue; nice low carb
Overall: I say a very nicely done NEDIPA I would return to.

7.8/10 β€” Appearance 8 Aroma 8 Flavor 8 Texture 7 Overall 7.5
Reviewed from notes.
On tap at Foam Brewers
Poured into a tulip.
Appearance: bronzed orange color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: citrusy rind bitterness with melons and papaya-like hoppiness; light clean semi-biscuity malts
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas to a fine bittersweet juicy quality; finishes clean with the melons and papayas
Texture: medium bodied, leans towards being a sipper; good smoothness; the carb seems a bit higher than expected for this style (hmmmm....uhmmmm, alrighty then)
Overall: mostly a pretty good NEIPA I would return to.

On tap at Foam Brewers on 10/08/2017.
Poured into a tulip.
Appearance: pale yellow/orange thickness with a one finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace.
Aroma: pine, peach, orange and mango hop tones with a great clean biscuity malt base
Flavor: what a great blend of the prior noted aromas to a fine juicy bittersweet quality; finishes mainly with the pine and peaches
Texture: medium bodied, good as a sipper; great smoothness along the tongue; light hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: a very nicely done NEDIPA I would very well return to.

8.1/10 β€” Appearance 8 Aroma 8.5 Flavor 8 Texture 8 Overall 8
Reviewed from notes. Growler purchased 11/28/2017 and consumed on 11/29/2017.
Poured into a becher glass.
Appearance: glossy orange haziness with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: pineapples, tangerines, and some kiwis - rolls right into a great juicy tone; mild biscuity malts underneath
Flavor: meshes all the previously mentioned aromas to a fine overall bittersweet quality; finishes with the pineapples and tangerines mostly
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; lovely smoothness along the tongue; low carb and low hop bitterness assertiveness and still tells me this is a beer.
Overall: and quite a well brewed NEIPA I would very much love to come back to.

8/10 β€” Appearance 8 Aroma 8 Flavor 8 Texture 8 Overall 8
Reviewed from notes. Growler purchased 03/29/2018 and consumed on 03/30/2018.
Poured into a tulip.
Appearance: dark brown close to black in color with a finger's worth of khaki foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: dark chocolate, subtle mineral water/briney, black coffee and a light dark malty backbone
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine salty to roasty and lightly sweet quality; finishes chocolatey, semi-salty and subtle coffee-ish
Texture: medium bodied, sessionable? hmmmm, eh, nah, I think this one leans closer to being a sipper as plenty of saltiness and roastiness seems to weigh on the tongue a bit more than expected as it balances to the suggested ABV
Overall: I liked this one for me but it does make me wonder what others think of this one, I bet the kids these days won't like this.

8.1/10 β€” Appearance 8 Aroma 8.5 Flavor 8.5 Texture 7 Overall 8
Reviewed from notes.
Growler purchased 01/19/2018 and consumed the same day.
Poured into a tulip.
Appearance: thick as midnight black in the middle of the sticks with a one finger tan foamy head that took it's time to dissipate then leave a light messy lace
Aroma: big sweet milk chocolate, good level of vanilla with some woody sweet to lightly spicy undertone with a delicate coffee roast underneath
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine roasty sweet quality; finishes sweet and woody spicy with a touch of roast
Texture: medium bodied, great sipper!; plenty of smoothness along the tongue but also a fair spicy toned woodiness nipping at the tongue
Overall: while I did like this one quite well, I do wonder if the Buffalo Trace tones were a bit fresh on this? Hmmmm, I don't know enough. But I definitely would welcome this one again!
