500ml bottle from The Offy, Whitstable. Drunk at home in France after picking up Willow our foster dalmatian. Pours clear, with an extremely pale greenish complexion. Typically Kentish medium sweet cider.. fresh and clean with a pleasant sweetness, not too sticky. Nice

330ml bottle from Maison de Peuguet. Opened after collecting Willow. Nice smokiness here. Wonder where that's from? Brings to mind a cellar barn with a wood burner.. good brut fruit shining through with soft tannins. Like this.

25cl bottle from Schuch's restaurant. Pours a generally clear deep gold. Very much a winey apfelwein.. a defined wine-like tone, with aged caramelised apple fruit and noticeable quince shades. Not bad.

440ml can from Sainsbury's Broadstairs. Drunk at home in France after collecting our new rescue Dalmatian Willow. Misty yellow looks, foamy w white head. Citrussy grapefruit is the order of the day here.. nice and fresh with a good bitterness.
