75cl bottle from the producer. Pours a generally clear gold, fine carbonation. Vague Autumn orchard nose. Initial impression suggests an empty, light palate with only subtle tannin, a little disappointing given the tannin rich apples used, delicate apple skin air, not much fruitiness or sweetness to speak of.. lacking in many aspects.. not Herouts finest work.

330ml bottle. Misty golden blonde appearance, good white head. Peppery nose with soft sweet yeast. Quite peppery to taste with a sweet saison character.. nicely done.

440ml can from Le Chais. Pours hazed golden orange, small white head. Lots of floaters in this unfortunately. Confidently sweet, not as full bodied or especially smooth as expected, quite light and easy drinking for the strength. Not great for style. Ok overall
