75cl bottle from Vanuxeem. Pours an opaque murky, slightly pulpy rosey gold. Wild lambic nose. Quite a crisp start, sadly not much rhubarb definition though you get a gentle sense of it, certainly a sharp juicy tang, nice lambic presence, good wild air, bright and sharp, but marked down for the lack of rhubarb definition.

75cl bottle (bottled AUG 2022, BBF: AUG 2024) from the brewery shop in Brussels.
F: thin, white, average retention.
C: gold, hazy.
A: rhubarb, funky, bit lemon, lactic, woody, gooseberries.
T: real rhubarb, light gooseberries, woody, funky, leather, light sour fruity, decent “bitterness”, soft carbonation, good one, enjoyed for sure.

(Draught at Brussels Beer Project, Brussels, 22 Oct 2022) Hazy golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, sourish nose with citrus, grapefruit, pineapple and passion-fruit. Fruity, tart taste with notes of lemon, grapefruit, passion-fruit, pineapple, rhubarb, wood, yeast and some barnyard. Hardly any bitterness. Fresh and tasty, with a generous acidity. Very nice.

7/XII/22 - 75cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ Zythos class, BB: VIII/2024, bottled: VIII/2022 (2022-1722)
Cloudy beige beer, small creamy to aery white head, stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: lots and lots of marijuana, very strange, very funky, clear rhubarb notes, nice funk, horse stable, very complex and pleasant brett notes. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice clear rhubarb notes up front, lemony, pretty bitter, a bit funky, little sourish, herbal, dry and spicy. Aftertaste: more species, funky, a little sourish, more rhubarb, very complex, hoppy touch, marijuana, lemon, grapefruit, lovely stuff, really like this beer!

Pâle doré présentant un léger trouble, col fin crémeux/mousseux blanc jaunâtre.
Arôme offre un bouquet plaisant mettant bien en avant la rhubarbe - notes terreuses délicates, rétro de funk - lambic like avec un léger nez grains pour un effet plus rond.
Palais est plaisant avec une belle présence de rhubarbe - et de ce côté jus - j'y retrouve l'acidité typique de cette dernière - côté terreux et filandreux. Je retrouve en retrait un côté finement acidulé rappelant le tropical du fruit de la passion voire de citron vert.
